Prof. Aniedi J. Ikpang, LL. B(RSUST); BL; LL.M(UNIUYO); Ph.D. (UNN) is a cerebral academic, ingenious scholar and Professor of Criminal Law. Prof. Ikpang has, at various points in time been, Head of Department, Public Law, Faculty of Law, University of Uyo (2005-2007), Head of Department Private Law, Faculty of Law, University of Uyo (2010-2012), Vice Dean, Faculty of Law, University of Uyo (2010-2012), Acting Dean, Faculty of Law, University of Uyo (2015-2017), Substantive Dean, Faculty of Law, University of Uyo (2019-2021).

Prof. Ikpang is an astute administrator and a successful man-manager. His erudition and versatility are exemplified in the courses that he has taught at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels namely, Criminal Law, Law of Evidence and Company Law. Prof. Ikpang has over 43 publications in learned and reputable local and international journals, and has supervised innumerable undergraduate and postgraduate students' projects, dissertations and theses.

Prof. Ikpang's intellectualism was also brought to bear when he was called upon, alongside other seasoned academics, to set up the academic crew of the Faculty of Law of the top-notch, newly established TopFaith University, Mkpatak. Prof. Ikpang is a practising Christian and is happily married with children.
