JUSTICE NSIMA AKPABIO CHAMBERS

Justice Nsima Akpabio Chambers is an unflagging value adding student body well poised within the precincts of the Faculty of Law, University of Uyo.

Justice Nsima Akpabio Chambers has witnessed two phases since its inception in 2005. It was formerly known as Advocacy International Chambers, with Sir Dan Gospel as the founding father.

Sir Dan Gospel, driven with vision and passion to add more value and advocacy skills to students, created the chambers.

As time passed, there was a need to give the chambers a facelift, in a bid to meet up with the demands of the contemporary realities in  University of Uyo, and in 2015 after due consultation with critical stakeholders of the chambers, a motion – that the name of the chambers be changed, was duly moved and seconded by congressmen of the chambers. That motion birthed the Justice Nsima Akpabio Chambers of today.

The change of name was done in an effort to eulogise a man who had distinguished himself in service to the legal profession and to the society at large. Justice Nsima Akpabio was a renowned jurist whose life and times represents all that the Advocacy International Chambers stands for.
