also known as the TRAILBLAZERS INN OF COURT, is the leading students Chambers, in the Faculty of Law, University of Uyo, Akwa Ibom State. This Chambers was established on the 1st of July 1990 and named after the late Dr. Ime Sampson Umanah. It remains the longest, oldest and most prestigious serving Chambers in University of Uyo till date. 

It was “Founded” on the principles of excellence, discipline, unity, commitment, Intellectualism, equity and diligence. This chambers has soared high and prides itself as the primus inter pares amongst chambers in the faculty. We boast of the best brains in the faculty and also the most successful law practitioners and lecturers. In advocacy, we are held in high esteem, because we produce a substantial quota of representatives during moot court trials. Also, over half of every “Clinical Legal Education” class per set is constituted by our partners (members).

The Chambers is primarily concerned with the academic and social welfare of her partners, thereby, grooming partners to be responsible and well equipped lawyers in the nearest future.

This Chambers provides an avenue where students irrespective of their affiliation,  are equipped with the tools of trade required in the successful practice of law.  We also provide resources which aids in broadening the minds of the students, which consequently influences their choice of specialization in various fields of law, with special cognizance to the benefits and opportunities presented by these diverse fields of law.

As an institution of the society, we organize community projects and provide resources with the aim of sensitizing the public on their Rights, Obligations and Liabilities. we view this as our own utmost contribution to the “Legal Growth and Development” of Nigeria as a nation.

We have over the years organize activities such as; Debates, Seminars, Pen-talks, J. S. Okutekpa SAN moot Invasion,  J.J. Usman SAN Moot/ Mock trial,  Outreaches, Round table discussions, quizzes, thoughts provoking legal discussions, etc.
