Dr Eyakndue Ntekim was the immediate past Head of the Department of Public Law and the Vice Dean of the Faculty of Law, University of Uyo, Nigeria. She holds a doctorate degree in Labour and Social Security Law. A clinical law teacher, Dr Ntekim’s core areas of research and publications include labour law, law of labour relations, social security law, labour rights, legal research methodology and commercial law.

She has published widely in reputable journals and has attended conferences pertaining to her core research areas both as participant and facilitator.

She’s a law teacher who has a passion for students' excellence and drive and has worked in the Faculty of Law, University of Uyo since 2006.

A passionate advocate of labour rights and women’s rights, Dr Ntekim mentors young people with a view to changing the narratives of labour across jurisdictions in line with the United Nations interdisciplinary paradigms and global vision.
