WHAT IS CLASFON UNIUYO?

The full meaning of the acronym CLASFON is Christian Law Students Fellowship of Nigeria. CLASFON is widely recognized as a fellowship for Christian law students in Nigerian universities.

This fellowship is under the parent body- Christian Lawyers’ Fellowship of Nigeria (CLASFON), a faith-based non-governmental organization for Christian lawyers and law graduates in Nigeria. CLASFON in this context means the fellowship of law graduates/students, advocates, corporate practitioners, magistrate and judges among others from different parts of the country. The fellowship drew its inspiration from the Lawyers Christian Fellowship (LCF) which started in England in 1852.

There are over 50 branches of CLASFON in the different universities in Nigeria and CLASFON UNIUYO is one of the branches.
